Handanovic interview part 4 - "Best save in a derby? Against Balotelli and De Jong"
Here is the final part of Handanovic interview with Inter supporters on the club Facebook page.
Your memorable saves in a derby?
“Maybe the one against Balotelli but also De Jong’s shot too at the 93rd minute that I sent to the corner. To someone, it was not important but to me, it was.”
What do you feel when you see a full stadium as you warm up getting ready for a derby?
“It gives me chills, adrenaline. It’s very nice, even better at home. Playing at the San Siro is always a dream.”
How difficult is it to win the Golden Ball as a keeper?
“Only Jascin has done it that is enough to tell you the story.”
How much do you like the history of football?
“I love it. I see all the matches. I follow the players, their national teams, it is nice. I see also movies of sports like football and basketball on TV.”
What kind of sport do you follow other than football and basketball?
“I like chess. It is a sport because in front of a chessboard, you do not think about other things, you have to be focused.”
Do you follow other teams in particular?
“In the Premier League like City and Chelsea.”
How important is the defensive phase of the game?
“In modern football, it is like this: you have to attack and defend in all. You must close the gap and move together.”
