Moratti: "Scudetto? Juve and Napoli remain very strong but if Inter can continue like this..."

Speaking to Radio RAI, former president Massimo Moratti discusses a wide variety of topics from Suning, Serie A and the match against Napoli.

Do you miss the presidency?

“No, watching the derby yesterday as a fan was beautiful. I am not thinking about the past.”

Who in the treble winning team would you give this Inter?

“Cambiasso. You never go wrong with Cambiasso and that is why I would always pick him. He was a great midfielder, tireless and full of good will. Another player I could pick would be Sneijder, he would instantly improve the pace and speed.”

The penalty of Rodriguez.

“During that play, I was watching the ball but after seeing the replay, it was a penalty and I’m not just saying that as an Interista. It happened on the 90th minute mark and of course it would create controversy.”

Scudetto?

“I hope. Juve always remain strong but if Inter continue with character, desire to fight until the end and a bit of luck, then sure, Inter will be on the conversation. Juventus should be afraid of the Nerazzurri although that after their Champions League final lost, there is a strong will on their part to react. Napoli? They have always been there, it’s been a few years now and this might be the right year. Sarri is just fantastic.”
