Andre Gomes wants to leave Barcelona in January, there is Inter and Joao Mario
Andre Gomes has come to a breaking point with Barcelona. The player has already contacted his agent, Jorge Mendes, in order to work on finding a new team in January. Despite the call-up to play in the Portuguese national team, Gomes is likely behind Renato Sanches, Joao Mourinho and William Carvalho as these players are enjoying a lot more playing time at their club.
According to DiarioGol, Mendes will explore all possibilities and this time, it seems that the hottest solution is Italy, specifically Inter. The Nerazzurri club could try to persuade Barcelona with a loan proposal with right to sign at 20 million euros. Barca, however, paid 35 million for him and seem reluctant to let Gomes go at a lower figure.
Inter, according to the source, are a destination appreciated by the player thanks to his friend Joao Mario who could provide an important support to adapt to Italian football.
