Vanheusden's surgery to fix ACL went "perfectly," will start work to recover soon

Zinho Vanheusden has completed his first step on the road of recovery. According to an update on Inter.it, “Inter defender Zinho Vanhusden had an operation (this morning) to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee at Monica Hospitals in Antwerp. Surgery went to plan perfectly and the player will begin his rehabilitation stage in the coming days.”

The player is expected to be out of action until March of 2018.
