Mario Corso: "Icardi was born to score goals but Inter must win something to keep him"

Mauro Icardi is scoring at an incredible pace and with just one more goal, he will tie with legendary Mario Corso with 94 goals scored for the Black and Blue side of Milan.

“The time is now! I hope he is able to do it on Sunday. Icardi was born to score goals. I am very happy for him and he deserves it,” said Mario Corso in an interview with Tuttosport.

“I believe that there is a special relationship between Mauro and Inter and I also think that his wife’s desire to stay in Milan is a massive factor for his future. However, Inter must continue to improve, they must achieve certain results because if Icardi continues to score like this and he doesn’t win anything, he might decide to try another experience. But I repeat, as far as I can tell from the outside, I see an Inter with Icardi for a very long time.”
