Ausilio: "We are not worried about losing Icardi. His fate is here at Inter, I am certain of it"
Billions were spent last summer. Clubs are starting to pay release clauses more regularly now and that should be taken into a serious consideration regarding the situation of Mauro Icardi.
The player has a release clause of 100 million euros which is only valid for foreign clubs. In the last few months, there have been talks of Inter renewing his contract once more in order to fix the buyout figure as there are many clubs out there (Real Madrid, PSG etc…) that can easily pay it off.
In an interview with Tuttosport, Piero Auslio reassures the fans that Icardi is not going anywhere.
“We are not afraid of losing Icardi. We are good with him and he is with us. If Icardi wanted to leave or we wanted to sell, even if the clause is 150 million that would not change the situation. The fate of Icardi is here at Inter, I am certain of it.”
