Inter looking for discounted deals for January and Gerard Deulofeu could be that option
Inter cannot afford to go crazy in this transfer market. As a result, the team is required to move very carefully in order to stay within the financial parameters of UEFA. According to Tuttosport, the main objective of the club is Simone Verdi but just like another target named Federico Chiesa, both are difficult to reach.
“For January, Ausilio is therefore looking with great attention of the discounted market or those that need to play to make next year’s World Cup in Russia. All the eyes of Inter sporting director will be on Gerard Deulofeu who, after finding a lot of space and playing time at the start of the season, is being put aside by Barcelona and thus, he is fearful of losing out on the World Cup.
“The Spaniard did very well in Italy, dragging Milan to the Europa League thanks to his performances. For this, he is seriously considering a return to Italy to that continuity that he has lost at Barcelona. Deulofeu’s contract expires in 2019 which makes it a good opportunity for Inter which could aim for a loan with right to sign at a fixed amount, that way Barcelona would not lose the player on the free transfer market.
“On Deulofeu, Napoli have already come forward as the Azzurri are also in the hunt for a winger. For Inter, the Spaniard, based on his characteristics and features, is the best that Spalletti can look for.”
