Verdi or Pastore in, Joao Mario out
You have heard it before but here it is again: Inter will have to self-finance the upcoming transfer market. Meaning? They have to sell before buy. Let’s talk Joao Mario. It will be hard for the Nerazzurri to make any capital gain on the Portuguese, given his arrival cost Inter 40 million. Thus, Inter are carefully evaluating Joao Mario as an exchange pawn and they have been working with PSG for a few weeks to bring Javier Pastore.
There are two alternatives to Pastore: Verdi of Bologna and Mkhitaryan of Manchester United. For the Armenian, the Gazzetta dello Sport believes that Jose Mourinho does not want Joao Mario as a counterpart. Besides, the United midfielder is a non-EU and his arrival would rule out that of Ramires.
