Steven Zhang to replace Thohir as president at the end of the season. Moratti could come back with limited participation
Steven Zhang is living a life of Inter. The son of Jindong is increasing his knowledge each and everyday and coming with it are the responsibilities.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, “Steven has now taken over the club’s international relations as well. He has just returned from European tour to promote the 300 million Inter bond which proved to be a success. Then there is his private character, although he regrets that he has not yet learned Italian (but he understands a bit now), and is quickly inserted himself into the Inter environment.”
It is not a coincidence that he should be the new president of Inter once Erick Thohir leaves the scenes.
“Since last February (Inter 1-3 Roma), Thohir only returned to Italy once to see the game against Udinese with his family in the stands, there was also his mother but then decided to leave hours before the Christmas party. ‘He did that because he did not want to obscure Steven,’ a source close to the club reveals. The Indonesian, who is now organizing the Asian Games, is farther and farther away from Inter and that has been well established.”
“Thohir could be liquidated at the end of the season by Suning, with the temptation to bring Massimo Moratti back into the organization with limited participation. Moratti and Steven have an excellent relationship and with this move, it would allow Steven to complete his growth within the club.”
