Inter win court battle against Sunderland, will receive 10.5 million euros
In the end, court of arbitration for sport in Losanna has decided that Inter will win against Sunderland in the case of Ricardo Alvarez and take home 10.5 million euros. The Nerazzurri and Black Cats have been going at it for a while now, specifically since 2015 when there was agreement to send the Argentinian midfielder to the Premier League side on loan with obligation to sign permanently at 10.5 million. The clause is that if Sunderland managed to stay up, which they did, they had to pay Inter that figure. After years of court battle, Inter have finally gotten justtice, as well as 10.5 million euros.
