Inter not willing to go over 6 million for Borja Valero

Inter not willing to go over 6 million for Borja Valero

The face to face of yesterday unlocked the deal for Borja Valero. While Sabatini should return from China on Friday, Inter sporting director Ausilio at lunch time met with Fiorentina director Corvino to officially offer 5 million euros for the 32 year-old Spanish.

Inter understand fully that Valero is the most paid player that Fiorentina have and giving him away would save about 8 million euros in gross salary for two years. The Viola want to get younger and at the same time would like to monetize from this transfer.

The request starts at 10 million while Inter do not want to go over 6. In the meantime, Borja’s agent has already found agreement with Inter for a three-year deal at 3 million per season.
