Cambiasso: "Italian teams lose Champions League finals? No, just Juve. Treble? Because of Mou"

Speaking in an interview with Marca, Inter legend Esteban Cambiasso looks back at his time in Italy with the Nerazzurri:

Who were your best teammates?
"At Real Madrid, it was Raul. At Inter I remember so many. Samuel always covered our shoulders and then there was Zanetti and Milito. Milito's intelligence reminded me of Raul.:

How did Mourinho's Inter win the Champions League at the Bernabeu?"
"We played together. Many of us were discarded by the big clubs but we had a very ambitous coach on the bench. We wanted to win that cup and we did. We played together and so we could overturn all the difficult moments."

Usually, Italian clubs lose in the Champions League final...
"Well, no. The only club that lost against a Spanish club twice is Juventus. Inter played one and we wont it. Milan also won a lot. Much depended on our psychology which is always underestimated."

Pekerman, Del Bosque, Queiroz, Capello, Ranieri, Mourinho, Mancini... You have had a lot of coaches.
"Yes but I learned from all of them. Especially Mourinho, he cared for every detail."

And Simeone? Sooner or later he'll coach Inter?
"Il Cholo has a lot of energy and grit on the bench. He is a genuine person and this is the foundation of a leader. Depends on other factors but I think that one day he will coach Inter."
