Mamadou Coulibaly, the big surprise

Mamadou Coulibaly, the big surprise

Mamadou Coulibaly is a beautiful story and in all likelihood, he will arrive from Pescara to Inter. Anyway, before all this dream, his story was a traumatic one. Born in 1999 in Senegal, he reached Europe on a migrant boat. Then, football introduced him to our society. And to say that his father, a physical education teach, did not want him to play this sport.

When he arrived in France, he relied on an aunt to start his new life. Then he went to Livorno and then Pescara, precisely in a family house in Montepagano. Sporting center in Roseto provided a roof for him to stay for a few nights before taking him in. Cesena and Sassuolo tried him out but they did not believe in Coulibaly. Then eventually he arrived to Pescara.

The Abruzzi accent makes him a true Italian, one without a guitar but with elegant movements and with the use of great physicality when serving in the middle of a football field. Inter hope that his agent Donato Di Campli was not wrong when he said “Coulibaly reminded me of Pogba.” Now it is up to Mamadou, turned 18 years old in February, to take advantage of this opportunity and provide Inter the same chance to find a treasure in him.
