Inter to Mourinho: "Don't exploit us. Friends or not, no favor and no discount for Perisic"
Business is business. And when there is negotiation with several zeros, friends do not exist. Inter have been in talks with Manchester United and Jose Mourinho for Ivan Perisic for weeks. The result? No discount and no favor. Indeed, for Ivan Perisic, the Special One has made two very low offers: 30 and 32 million euros. Extremely little considered the value of the Croatian. The Portuguese hoped to exploit the difficulty of Inter, forced to make capital gains by today by lowballing to get the former Wolfsburg player but he was rejected. No gifts or discounts. Inter were able to sell the alternatives to reach the goal of 30 million needed for the UEFA Financial Fair Play and so Perisic (for now) stays in Milan.
Inter have already told the Croatian that on the 10th, he will go to training camp together with other internationals. This information was given to his agent, Fali Ramadani, who always pushed for a sale because of a big agreement with Manchester United at 5 million per season. The Nerazzurri have also informed Perisic’s representatives that starting July 1st, buying the player would be very complicated for two reasons: Spalletti highly values the player and the pair of Ausilio and Sabatini consider him as a top player, one that is difficult to replace. The idea is to keep him. Happy or not. An extension will be proposed with the hope to cure his stomach ache.
In England, they are sure that Manchester United will return for Perisic strongly, perhaps with a 40 million proposal. No more than that because the player is already 28 years old. Certainly, Mou to the Interisti is less… Special. Same with Perisic for his desire to leave the club. The feeling is that he has to win back a lot of fans…
