Inter ready to make Rudiger first signing of summer
The attack from Inter for Antonio Rudiger has begun. Inter have decided to start negotiation for the defender instead of… let’s say… Nainggolan. Why? The first reason is because the German defender is the priority for Spalletti as the defensive department needs immediate reinforcements, just look back at the mistakes and horrors of last year. The second is that Nainggolan has repeatedly expressed his will to stay with Roma as long as his new contract is promised.
The return of Sabatini back to Italy suggests that the coming days are decisive for Inter to launch an attack on the German defender. Inter are ready to put on the table 30 million euros, 2 more than the offer of 12 months ago for which Sabatini refused Chelsea. Will it be enough? Well, right now Roma are evaluating the 40 million for Salah and with this sale, it would help the Giallorossi tremendously when it comes to balance.
The gap between Inter’s offer and Roma’s demand remains significant. Sabatini and Ausilio already have the yes of the player who, despite has the chance to play in the Champions League next year, has made a promise to Inter. However, Rudiger’s desire is not going to be enough and Monchi, at this moment, is not going to give Inter discount.
In this sense, Inter will try to include counterparts in negotiation. Last year, Roma liked Brozovic but Inter might include a young player. Roma might not be interested in counterpart as Pallotta’s intention is to monetize.
Inter want to make Rudiger its first signing of this summer and the attack on Rome is on the horizon. Sabatini and Ausilio are ready to be on the offensive.
