Thohir: "Never said that I would resign. But my future will depend on Suning"
In a long interview with Bola.com, Erick Thohir expresses his uncertainty about his relationship with Inter.
“I told ANTV and Inter that I will be focusing and more involved with the Asian Games and consequently, I will be less active on these two fronts than I usually do. But I never said that I would resign as Inter president. In the future, I do not know what will happen. Much will depend on the decision of the shareholders (Suning Group). I am no longer the majority shareholder.
“Under my management, from 2013-2016, the club bought so many players. Now with Suning, the same is happening. My hope back in 2013 and today is the same: I want to see Inter in the Champions League.”
