Mourinho shows frustration: "Difficult market, clubs demand too much for their players"

Manchester United and Inter have been talking for weeks for the potential transfer of Ivan Perisic to the Red Devils. Things are much closer than before but this negotiation has been dragging on for weeks and Jose Mourinho is frustrated. The Portuguese coach wanted Perisic before the trip to America but of course things did not go as planned.

“I cannot say that I am happy about our transfer market. What I can say is that it has been a difficult transfer window but this is not anyone’s fault. It is just reality. The market is heading to a direction that makes it difficult to sign players. Every club is powerful, it is either they do not want to sell or their demand is really high,” he said to ESPN.
