Inter going after Andreas Christensen, who had massive success in Bundesliga

Obviously, his age is in line with the strategy that Inter are imposing. Andreas Christensen is 21 years old and already at this age, his resume is to be respected. Developed in the youth academy of Chelsea, with the Blues, Christensen only put together a couple of first team appearances in the FA Cup and League Cup, both in the 2014-2015 season. He came on the scene thanks to the loan to Borussia. In fact, during the two seasons in the Bundesliga, the Danish always played as a starter except for a few games that he was out due to an injury (muscular injury). In two years, 82 total appearances, all of them as started and he was never substituted out mid game. Not only that, in some occasions, he was placed in front of the defense showing that he has good enough footwork to start the action. In short, in his Bundesliga adventure, he became a sort of pillar for Borussia with many rewards just like the best player of the team assigned to him in the 2015-2016 season.

Truthfully, Borussia tried to keep him but the offer of 17 million euros in the summer of 2016 was rejected by Chelsea. It is also easy to think that after the last season, his transfer fee has increased even further. The problem is to understand if the Blues even want to keep him. In the light of Rudiger’s acquisition, you would think that Conte has different plans. In short, Inter are trying to find room to negotiate. Difficult, however, to think that his value is less than 30 million.
