2017-2018 season officially starts today. Full list of pre-season events

At 11 am, the Spalletti era will officially begin at the Suning Training Center in Appiano Gentile. It is very important to start the new season off on the right foot because having a good season is extremely important. Waiting for the eventual big news on the transfer market, all the international players will be missing tomorrow including Gabriel Barbosa and Davide Santon. The so-called stars at the club will be at training camp in Brunico next Monday.

Here is the pre-season schedule for Inter:

  •  Today - July 5: Players return to Pinetina and depart for Riscone in Brunico
  • July 9: Inter-Wattens friendly
  • July 15: Inter-Norimberga friendly
  • July 16: Players return to Milan
  • July 18: Depart for tournament in China and Singapore
  • July 21: vs. Schalke July 24: vs. Lyon July 27: vs. Bayern Munich July 29: vs. Chelsea
  • July 30: Return to Italy
  • August 6: vs. Villareal
  • August 12: vs. Bettis
  • August 20: The first Serie A match of the new season

Certainly there won’t be as many fans as those who showed up yesterday in Milanello to greet the cousins. Milan already have a good transfer market and plus, the training yesterday was open to the fans. But what matters is putting together a good team by the end of August, one that will put Spalletti in the conditions to work his best. After lunch, the team and coaching staff (management will head to Brunico first where there is already a logistic outpost) will embark from Malpensa to Innsbruck and then transfer to Riscone where in the afternoon, Spalletti will lead his first training session of the season. There will be Joao Mario, who skipped the rest of Confederations Cup due to injury but the internationals will be missing such as Nagatomo, D’Ambrosio, Medel, Brozovic, Gagliaridni, Icardi, Jovetic, Perisic, Eder, Candreva and Skriniar. The 22 year-old Slovakian defender coming from Sampdoria will be official in the coming days but above all, he had just ended the U21 European championship. Also missing are Santon (on leave until Sunday) and Gabriel Barbosa. The loan of the Brazilian is certain but he has refused almost all destinations. Other than the return of Ranocchia and Longo, there will also be talented youngster Odgaard and Zaniolo plus many different Inter Primavera players.
