Inter looking ahead, searching for Miranda's heir. Four options...
The Skriniar-Miranda partnership has been one of the biggest factors in giving Inter a great start to this new season. The former Sampdoria has proven time and time again that he is one of the best defenders not only in Italy but in the world. And now, Sabatini and Ausilio will calmly and quietly work on an heir of Miranda. The Brazilian has an expiring contract in 2019 and at the end of this season, it will probably be renewed for one more season. However, the club wants to be proactive, looking towards the future, finding a new complementary piece to play with the Slovakian of Inter.
According to Tuttosport, there are four options: Jose Gimenez, Issa Diop, Felipe of Porto and Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen.
Gimenez has an expiring contract in 2018 and in the event of failure to renew, it would be a great opportunity for Inter to sign the Uruguayan defender. Issa Diop is only 20 years old but the Toulouse defender already has a price tag of 20 million euros. Felipe of Porto has a buy-out clause of 50 million and at this time, it seems unrealistic. Christensen of Chelsea could be a doable option for a mid-season loan request.
