TS - 215 million since June 2016 on transfers... Spending is not a problem, spending incorrectly is
Tuttosport calculates that Suning, since June 2016, has invested 215 million on the transfer market. According to the newspaper, the problem is not the lack of willingness to spend, but rather the money was not spent correctly such as Joao Mario and Gabriel Barbosa for a total of almost 77 million euros. The two flops that now have limited other moves that Sabatini and Ausilio want to do.
“Much of the fault can be found in the investment that Suning wanted to listen to agent Kia Joorabchian.”
On Dalbert, another expensive signing that happened last summer. “Inter are still waiting for him. The Italian league is quite different from the Portuguese one and Ligue 1. Judging by the last few perofrmances, the player has shown clear improvement.”
