Media continues to speak of Real Madrid and Icardi but there is no reason for Inter to sell

While here at home, Inter are trying to maneuver its way in the transfer market. In Madrid, people continue to speak about Mauro Icardi and Real Madrid in the same sentence. The club of Florentino Perez has in fact put the Argentinian and Inter captain on top of its wish list for this very transfer window but no one has mentioned the desire of the player. Despite having a down period with the club, Mauro Icardi remains in love with Inter. And the limits of the Financial Fair Play are not so strict to the point that can force the Zhang family to make a compulsive sale, especially not Inter best player. Furthermore, the 110 million release clause is only valid for the first 15 days of July and to sign Icardi now, it would take a lot of money, even more than the release clause.

Real Madrid can even put Karim Benzema on the table so that they can “help” Inter finding a replacement for Icardi in just a heartbeat. Complex negotiation, if there is even one, to the point of impossibility in January. Let’s not forget that agent-wife Wanda Nara has an appointment with lawyers Pino Letterio and Ulisse Savini in February to work on the new contract which currently expires in 2021. They will also increase the clause and retouch the wage of the Inter number 9.
