Report - Inter favorite to sign Giuseppe Marotta

Beppe Marotta will leave Juventus but what does the future have in store for the current Bianconeri director? Well, the latest rumors coming from LaPresse are about a possible approach by Inter to Marotta “who led Juve to win seven league titles in a row and two Champions League finals. He will not be working for the FIGC in the future as he himself has stated this. Following him are three main Italian rivals of Juve.

“The first is Napoli the team that has already attempted with a phone call but with De Laurentiis, the economic aspect of this deal could be insurmountable (Marotta earns €2M a season at Juve). Roma have just lost Umberto Gandini and are therefore looking for a replacement in that position. The most probable hypothesis, as least as far as we know, is Inter. The project that Suning has for this club is very ambitious and after the separation with Walter Sabatini, the Nerazzurri have not yet found a suitable figure to support Piero Ausilio.”
