Agent: "Napoli strongly wanted Politano but Inter were quicker"

Speaking to Radio Marte, Davide Lippi, agent of Matteo Politano, returns to talk about Napoli interest for the Inter player.

“In January, Napoli did everything to sign Politano and I also did my best to help this deal go through but then there were many problems with Sassuolo. Napoli were willing to spend huge figure for him but the deal did not go through because Sassuolo needed him badly. In fact, because of Politano that they were saved from relegation. Napoli also wanted him in July but Inter moved quicker.”
