Candreva to Torino? Not so fast as player would be too expensive
The news of today is that Torino, thanks to the will of its coach Walter Mazzarri, are interested in signing Antonio Candreva on dry loan in January. The former Lazio winger was spoken to last August when he refused Monaco, wanted to play for his chances at Inter. So far this season, Candreva has had 7 appearances including Champions League for a total of 293 minutes on the pitch. He also has one goal and that was away against Bologna.
What is the situation now? Well, according to FCIN, the player’s representatives and Torino management have denied this rumor and unless there is sensational twist and turn, he will continue playing for Inter in January. The Italian winger does not want to leave the city of Milan while in Turin, signing him would be too expensive for their coffers.
And so as of right now, there is no possibility that Candreva is going to leave Inter for the Granata.
