After setting Serie A gate receipt record last season, Inter expected to do the same in Champions League

It will be a very crowded San Siro which will host the derby between Inter and Milan once the league resumes after the international break.

“Just under two weeks, ticket sales data is already very impressive. Since yesterday, there are no tickets available in the second red ring in the stadium and only a few are still there for the second orange ring.”

There is no doubt about it: over 77 thousand fans will attend the Milan derby as well as Inter-Barcelona game scheduled for November 6th. Against the Catalan, Inter are expected to set box office (gate receipt etc…) record.

“Last October, Inter-Milan yielded €4.9M and this year, due to a higher number in season tickets sold (around 40 thousand), it is possible that the Nerazzurri will make a higher figure. The absolute record for a Serie A game also belongs to Inter for the game against Juventus on April 6 (€5.3M). The sold-out game against Milan in a few days will confirm the supremacy of Inter fans in terms of attendance in this early stage of the season. In fact, Inter already have the most season tickets sold and are leading the lead in average attendance with 58,846 in the six official league matches.”
