Suning hopes to replicate Juve success with Marotta
Beppe Marotta has finally admitted that there is a possibility, a good one at that, that he could join Inter management in the very near future.
“I’m at Inter? It is possible,” he said yesterday during the “Radicchio d’oro” award ceremony. “Certainly I will stay in Italy,” he said to the Corriere dello Sport.
That may be a few words but it is enough to understand what he is planning to do. After seven years and 14 titles with Juventus, Giuseppe Marotta will surely join Inter to team up with Piero Ausilio. Marotta says that he does not want to talk much about it but when curiosity is strong, it often finds fertile ground. It is a matter of time to see him at Inter after so much winning at Juventus.
Suning wants to repeat (hopefully with comparable results) what was done at the Bianconeri. Let’s not forget that at the start of his Juventus career, Marotta got to work with very inexperienced directors, including the boss himself in Andrea Angelli. A situation that is undoubtedly very similar to the one in Inter when it comes to Steven Zhang. The Inter president already met with Marotta twice and great feeling was born immediately.
