Free at last, free at last: Inter expected to have 100% freedom from UEFA FFP starting July 2019

Inter have an appointment today in Nyon and during which, the Nerazzurri will present their financial balance ending on last June 30th. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, “it will be up to Tim Williams, the Chief Financial Officer of Inter to lead his delegation to Switzerland and present all important points of the budget: it is a routine meeting for Inter which will have to comply with the limits set by the so-called settlement agreement until June 30, 2019.”

Gazzetta continues, “Inter will be available at this meeting for any clarification needed as UEFA financial personnel will look through those numbers. The new version of the FFP will start in spring of 2019 but assessments must be made on the current budget. Inter will have to make another €40M-€50M by June 30, 2019 and then the club of Suning will have complete freedom starting July 1st.”
