Inter looking to learn more about Tottenham's new stadium
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter look to form a relationship with Tottenham especially when it comes to the English club’s new stadium.
“Contacts between the two clubs will not be limited to the usual pre-game lunch but Steven Zhang and his management team will also visit the ‘new White Hart Lane’ site, the futuristic stadium that was supposed to host Spurs since the start of this season. Inter will take the opportunity to observe the retractable field, transparent corridor for access onto the field, stands with heated seats and they will also learn about the difficulties and delays that have made all 2018 games to be played at Wembley. Disorganization of the construction site and some scandal have emerged over the months as it often happens during massive project like this one.
“Tottenham’s investment in the 62-thousand seater is enormous as the estimated cost is around €960M but the economic return will be just as big with National Football League matches will be hosted there on a permanent basis. Inter’s idea is to renovate the Meazza but the comparison with the work in London will still be very useful.”
