UEFA president Ceferin: "Italy needs to improve its infrastructure, including the San Siro. But fans were fantastic yesterday"

Present at the Meazza yesterday to attend Inter-Barcelona, sitting next to Inter president Steven Zhang, was UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin. After the game, he stopped by Sky Sport reporters to speak about the San Siro.

“I think it is a stadium of a medium level. The fans were fantastic, the organization was also perfect but the stadium could be improved. Italy needs to improve its infrastructure. The football, however, was good. I witnessed a very good game and the draw is the correct result in the end. 1-1 is a good result. It was important because Inter are the only club in the group that has now met Barcelona twice so I think the Nerazzurri have a good chance to qualify for the round of 16.”
