Skriniar: "I do not want to leave Inter, not even to Juve. I want to beat them this season"
Speaking to DAZN, Inter defender Milan Skriniar talks about a wide variety of topics including the ongoing second season in the black and blue colors.
“When I played the first game with Sampdoria at the San Siro, I took a lot of pictures, it was great. We were very excited to be playing in this stadium which is very beautiful. I started playing football at the age of four: my family followed the sport quite a bit even before I was born. My father played it, same with my grandfather and his brother: when I was born, I just wanted to be a footballer. Homesick? Many times but family always helps me even when I left at the age of 11. They came to see me and I have to thank them for their support.
“Inter fans? My teammates call me Skri and if the fans have difficulty calling me Milan then they can call me Skri as well. Handanovic? He is a professional. Brozovic? He is a fun person, always makes jokes. Icardi? Great personality and a great bomber. Spalletti is the boss who commands the dressing room, there is no word to describe him. Leaving Inter? No. Not even for Juve. I have not managed to win against them so hopefully that happens this year. The goals at the end? They signify that we are a strong team, one that believes until the end.”
