Icardi will try to play versus Bologna but Inter medical staff may not risk it...
It is not a certainty that Icardi will return to the field tomorrow against Bologna at the San Siro. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, as a result, the chances of seeing Eder once again are increasing every minute. The Inter captain suffered an abductor strain during training last week and he was forced to left training early, thus it kept him out of the game versus Crotone. Icardi really wanted to play in that game as he is looking for this 100th goal in Serie A.
However, the bad news came yesterday where he felt some pain, or at least he did not feel right to increase the work load. Yesterday training was a lot more intense than previous sessions and after working out with teammates in the gym, he did not follow them out onto the field. Icardi will push to play but Inter medical staff does not want to take the risk of increasing the seriousness of the injury. Three key games are coming for Inter against Milan, Napoli and Sampdoria and so losing the number 9 for a long period would be devastating for the Nerazzurri.
