CdS - Investing is not an issue for Suning, the issue is lack of communication
The Corriere dello Sport decided to go against the current this morning, in reference to much criticism that Suning is getting from the fans for not investing enough especially on the transfer market.
“Sporting director, Piero Ausilio, is still engaged in mission in Argentina for Lautaro Martinez. In the end, this operation will cost around 20 million and Suning has already authorized it. During the current year, here are the investments that Suning has made so far: 24 million for Vecino, 20 + 6 for Dalbert, 20 + 10 + 5 for Skriniar, 5.5 + 1.5 for Borja Valero, 10 + 8 + 8 for Bastoni, and 7 for Colidio, with the addition of signing Gagliardini to a permanent contract.
“The total of this exceeds 100 million. It is normal that, between the UEFA Financial Fair Play and limits set by the Chinese government, resources were a very light for January. What missing from Suning is a clear explanation of what the plans are. Jindong Zhang has been elected a delegate of the National People’s Congress. It means that he is part of the government and therefore he must also set good example.
“When Suning bought Inter, many proclamations were made such as “Inter is coming” but they have not translated them info facts. Inter cohabit two souls: the Chinese one which is too far away and that of Italian. There is no real hierarchy, but many areas, with a single responsible manager. To take a step forward, Inter need these sectors not to remain separated or isolated, but to share the needs.”
