Lautaro Martinez: "Inter, one of Italy biggest clubs. Milito told me about his experience where he won everything at Inter"
In an interview with Ole, Lautaro Martinez confesses that he would be very disappointed to leave Racing without winning anything.
“Without a doubt, it would hurt me because winning a title with this club would be something beautiful and marvelous. In 2014, I got goosebumps seeing the stadium was full, without an empty seat. It must be very special to have a trophy attached to your name. But I will be here until June and I will do my best.
“Inter? They are one of the biggest clubs in Italy. They always fight for every competition and play in the Champions League. Diego Milito told me about his experience where he won everything there. He is an idol and he has told me what Inter are all about. Inter are one of the clubs wanting me but my agent will take care of these things.
“Possible to be better than Milito? It would be very hard. He was champion twice at Racing, he won the Champions League and other trophies. Diego representing this club is fantastic. He is with us all day, helping and encouraging us to continue.”
On the presence of Argentinian coach Sampaoli and Inter director Ausilio at the stadium to watch the game against Huracan.
“The truth is that it makes me very happy. I have to continue like this, being a better version of myself. But if people are talking about me then it means I am doing well.”
