After Lautaro Martinez, Inter have made contact with Udinese for Ivorian midfielder Seko Fofana
When you look at the moves that Inter are making, you wouldn’t think that we are in the middle of February because the vibe right now is more like August or so when Inter are wrapping up its summer transfer market reinforcements.
After basically securing Lautaro Martinez, it seems like Inter have already started planing the foundation for strengthening its midfield. In fact, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Walter Sabatini and Piero Ausilio are working on Udinese midfielder Seko Fofana, born in 1995. Last season, the Ivorian had 22 appearances and five goals while this year the numbers are at 18 games and one goal.
On their part, Udinese are eyeing young Inter players like Pinamonti, Emmers and Zaniolo as possible counterpart. New information on the negotiation should be a bit clear in March when things should get more serious but nevertheless, Inter are really interested in Fofana as a great refresher for the midfield. The two clubs have been talking informally for more or less for a couple of weeks.
