Small decline of 2.1% in revenues but 30 million from Beijing Yixinshijie coming...
Revenues for Inter Media and Communication are slightly down during the period of July 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017. According to Calcio e Finanza, Inter have a small decline of 2.1% from 118.1 million to 115.6.
Over this same period, Inter recorded revenues from sponsorships for 42.9 million: 5 from Pirelli shirt sponsor, 1.8 from technical sponsor Nike (3.8 million for the year, dropped from 9.5 million in 2016-2017 due to club results), 7.4 million from agreement with Infront (also down from 20.7 million to 20.1 for the year). Finally, the 28.6 million euros from regional sponsorships in Asia and the sale of naming rights, up from 22.3 million from last year, in particular for the growth of Suning bonuses linked to the performances of the teams (4.6 million in bonuses).
As for TV rights, the previous agreement with Serie A remains in line with last year (72.1 million versus 71.9 million from the first half of 2016-2017) while revenues from UEFA fell dramatically from 6.4 million (thanks to the Europa League participation) to 539 thousand euros for the first half of 2017-2018.
Under the agreement with Suning and other Chinese companies, Inter recorded 68.1 million out of the total of 125.2 million euros. With regard to the financial year ending in June 30, 2017, there is still missing around 22.5 million relating to the co-branding contract bonuses, which Inter believe will be able to cash in in the next few weeks.
“For the financial year ending in June 30, 2018, Inter have already received 16.5 million deriving from contract with Suning while the club is expecting 30 million euros from agreement with Chinese Beijing Yixinshijie.”
