Keeping Cancelo is complicated for two reasons: 35 million and Jorge Mendes
Joao Cancelo remains the number one goal to reinforce the right side for next season. Even more so now that he has proven to be one of the best Inter players in the year 2018. The agreed transfer fee is 35 million euros and it is a very heavy burden on Inter financially. Also because it seems that Manchester United of Jose Mourinho are working behind the scenes for the Portuguese national.
The alternative is Sime Vrsaljko of Atletico Madrid, which among other things has the same agent as Bryan Cristante, another Inter target.
“Vrsaljko is a player who could replace Cancelo in case the redemption from Valencia does not materialize. It is a transaction complicated by the Financial Fair Play and Jorge Mendes who is ‘rooting’ for his client’s arrival at Manchester United.”
