Inter not giving up on Rafinha, meeting Barcelona next week. Will use player's desire and lack of offers as leverage
Inter remain hopeful on Rafinha. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Nerazzurri want to negotiate around the figure of between 18-20 million euros, far from the 35 million requested by Barcelona in January.
Piero Ausilio will contact his Barcelona colleagues in Pep Segura as well as CEO Grascar Grau for a meeting next week to resume negotiations but there is no hurry.
Inter have one thing going for them: the strong will of Rafinha to continue his Inter adventure. Inter director will use this, together with the fact that there is no other club interested in Rafinha, as leverage. In other words, the agreement between Barcelona and Inter will happen because there is no other way out. The biggest problem remains Rafinha’s value: 18-20 from Inter and Barcelona will try to even raise it knowing that Rafinha was one of the key elements in the final part of the season for coach Luciano Spalletti.
