Inter and Roma share same intention of closing Nainggolan deal as soon as possible

Inter truly believe that in the coming days, there will be a positive turning point regarding negotiation with Roma for Radja Nainggolan. Piero Ausilio believes that he is the man who can give Inter a huge leap in overall quality, one that can fill the gap with other clubs that finished in front of the Nerazzurri in the league. At the end of May, there was a quick informal conversation with the player’s agent Alessandro Beltrami. Then came the first offer to Roma: 22 million plus one if not multiple Primavera players to choose from.

What about Roma? The stadium situation, where nine people were arrested for corruption, shook the club but should not affect negotiation for Nainggolan. Because between Strootman and himself, the Giallorossi would prefer to sell the latter but it will not be for cheap as Monchi wants to make 40 million.

So for this negotiation to take off, it it necessary for Inter and Roma to take one step towards each other. Ausilio will probably have to raise his first offer, also to avoid the inclusion of other clubs interested in Radja. Roma, on the other hand, know that 40 million for Nainggolan can scare teams away. The will of both clubs is for this negotiation to not become a soap opera.
