Report - Milan using Inter situation to defend themselves in front of UEFA
Yesterday in a meeting between UEFA and Milan, the Rossoneri delegation, led by Marco Fassone presented a few documents to support his case but not only that the director also brought up the situation of Inter.
As reported this morning by Il Giornale, the defensive plan of Milan has two key arguments: no prejudices against shareholder Younghong Li and the treatment must be the same for all clubs.
For its first point, to protect the future, Milan showed the detailed letter prepared by Elliott that ensure “business continuity” in case of failure to repay the initial debt. For its second point of argument, Milan brought up the situation of Inter by stating “two clubs in the same city.” As if to say that Milan situation cannot be treated differently than that of Inter.
