Materazzi: "Spalletti, among best three Italian coaches"

Inter legendary defender Marco Materazzi speaks to the Gazzetta dello Sport, answering question regarding back three defense as well as the great confidence in Spalletti.

“Inter directors are doing a great job. I really like De Vrij as a player and as an athlete. We have a very intelligent coach who has already said that Inter can play three in the back and the Dutch will do fine in that formation. He and Skriniar are different and can complement each other. I also like Asamoah, he was very important for Juve. Politano has improved a lot. Challenge Juve? Both them and Napoli had a great year last season. After 2010, Inter went through a lot of changes, much less now. Playing together grows friendship and teamwork.

“Spalletti? Last year he did very well. He too cannot wait to win in Italy. I consider him among the best three Italian coaches together with Sarri and Allegri. Spalletti has always done great things between the years at Roma and Inter but he is missing the Scudetto. I wish he could win it at Inter because he too has learned to appreciate what these colors mean to the fans.”
