Inter-Bordeaux dinner for Malcom and Biabiany. Foundation is laid to continue negotiation
DINNER FOR MALCOM
- Inter met with Bordeaux, first contact for the Brazilian.
- Valued at 40 million and there is no discount on the horizon.
- During the night, both sides also spoke about Biabiany who is liked at the French club.
Inter will seriously try with Bordeaux for Malcom. Yesterday evening in Milan, a dinner was held between sporting director Piero Ausilio and general director of the French club Alain Deveseleer. An exploratory meeting because the cost of the Brazilian winger starts at 40 million. One certain thing is that Inter are very interested and they have been for some time now especially after this past season where he played 35 league games, scoring 12 goals. The meeting last night cannot immediately shift the balance because Inter still need to worry about the issue of capital gain but it is a good starting point to lay the foundation for development in the near future.
Who he is - Malcom grew up at Corinthians, is a non-EU, has exceptional ability and can use both feet (although his preference is the left one). For the rest, he is a typical Brazilian, that is a player with incredible dribbling skill in his blood, always remarkable when he has the ball at his feet. Malcom’s flexibility would allow Luciano Spalletti to use him in all positions behind Mauro Icardi in the 4-2-3-1 formation. This is Malcom the player. Then there is Malcom the investment. Bordeaux do not seem willing to give Inter any discount. We are only at the beginning of June and it is normal that negotiation is like this. We will have to wait a month, maybe even in early August to see if there will be any wiggle room for maneuver.
Biabiany - Last night’s dinner between these two clubs was also for Jonathan Biabiany. The Frenchman, loaned to Sparta Prague this season, will return to Inter this summer. And he will be a player who can bring Inter capital gains. Minimal but it will be accepted by Inter which must make 45 million by June 30th. Biabiany still has a contract until 2019 and so cost will be limited for his transfer to Bordeaux. The relationship between two clubs is good, it is not ruled out that both can work towards a common goal that can satisfy everyone. Let’s not forget that on Malcom, there are the biggest European clubs competing for his service.
