Serie A revenues increase by 90 million, almost all of it because of Inter commercial success
The Gazzetta dello Sport analyzes financial gain of top European leagues, especially on the great impact of Suning on Serie A turnover.
“The Premier League has 5.3 billion in revenues for the 2016-2017 season, 86% more than second place La Liga which is under the presidency of Javier Tebas, after centralize TV rights and the partnership with Mediapro.
“Serie A is still lagging behind but the impact of massive Chinese company in Suning is now verified. The increase in turnover in Serie A (about 90 million) is almost entirely due to the commercial boom that Inter have had over the last few months thanks to the same company, Suning: half of that from transactions between related parties, but there were other profitable contracts signed by Inter from the Asian market.”
