Moratti: "Suning is ambitious and Icardi is the club's emblem. Milan? Feel sorry for them..."

Speaking to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Massimo Moratti comments on the transfer market and what is going on at Inter in general.

“I am logically happy for the signings made so far, testifying to the club’s great desire to return to the top. A great team is born with excellent chances to do well, the premises are all there. The players arrived clearly speak about the ambition of the ownership. Maybe something is still missing in the midfield but I am confident that the gap with Juventus will be reduced.

“Icardi? He has always been a leader, showing it way beyond the goals that he has scored these years. What fundamental for Inter is the attitude and he has it. There is no doubt that Icardi is now an emblem of the club.”

Quick words on Milan. “I am very sorry for what is happening, even if they are an opponent. At this moment, there is a lot of confusion but I hope some common sense prevails and that they can find a solid and passionate owner.”
