Tuttosport: "Juve, only Italian clubs with players in WC semifinals." Its director: "Huge mistake, author will be suspended"
“In the World Cup semifinals, there is only Juventus keeping Serie A alive, confirming its dominance in Italian football. In fact, no other Serie A team has players in this tournament.”
That was just a small part in a long article telling us that Juventus are the only Italian club still has players representing their countries at the World Cup. An article that angers many fans of Inter (Perisic and Brozovic), Milan (Strinic), Napoli (Mertens) and Fiorentina (Badelj) into rage.
Well, here comes the apology from Tuttosport director Xavier Jacobelli.
“Unpardonable mistake. Thank you all for telling us. I can assure you that this author’s suspension will be a long one.”
