Inter's sixth signing will be a right back. Meanwhile, meetings with Zhang Jindong in China
The Inter transfer market is currently in “wait and see” mode but incoming strategies do not change and now the club directors are flying to China. Inter are waiting to place the sixth signing of the season, already identified to be a right back. In the meantime, Ausilio and CFO Giovanni Gardini are off to Nanjing to beat the rest of the Inter delegation. Both departed yesterday afternoon and should be in full immersion of two days dedicated to meetings with boss Zhang Jindong and his staff.
Nothing unusual: it is just seasonal meetings with the Chinese board to talk about the organization, study new strategies, with the transfer market that will not directly enter the discussion (but never say never…). Completing the team with the Champions League in mind is a priority: Spalletti is asking for a right back and he will have it while in the midfield, their objectives have “cooled off” and any incoming transfer may require outgoing counterpart (Vecino for example).
