Matthaus: "Perisic, unpredictable and unconventional player"
Speaking to Bild, Lother Matthaus discusses the impressive run of Croatia in the last World Cup, does not fail to emphasize how many of those players played in Bundesliga in the past.
“The most worrying thing, from my point of view, is that most of these players were deemed no longer good enough by the German clubs after a short time. Ivan Perisic, for example, moved from Wolfsburg to Inter where he became a permanent starter. He can play on the right and left, unpredictable on the field, truly an unconventional player.”
