Inter to give Gagliardini an extension, player is important part of the project
After days of rest (deservedly so) following a very intense month of June, Inter are now in the “waiting” phase of the transfer market. There is the need to complete the squad with two or maybe three signings: right back (Florenzi, Zappacosta, Darmian, Vidal and Vrsaljko), central midfielder (Dembele) and maybe another attacking winger (Malcom). But without haste.
And as they are waiting for developments, Inter have begun to discuss contract renewal for Roberto Gagliardini who spent yesterday at Inter office with his agent. The current agreement expires in 2021 and they are working to extend it one more year. Already on Monday, the signature can already arrive.
As happened last month with Vecino, Bastoni and Dalbert, extension is needed at Inter to alleviate the amortization rate for the next few years as well as confirming full confidence in the Italian who is at the center of Inter project.
