No more confusion, no more uncertainty, Inter are more matured and ripe for a successful season
A year ago, on the day of players returning to work, Spalletti had one new signing and that was Padelli and on the blackboard at Appiano Gentile, it was full of hypotheses. Now, however, the coach already received Nainggolan, the electric shock that has been missing; Politano, a rampant arrow; De Vrij, a brick for an already solid wall; Asamoah, a meticulous soldier on the wing who will try to remove the left back curse; and Lautaro Martinez, which will remove the loneliness of Icardi in the attack.
Ausilio will only have to finish the work now with a right back and a central midfielder. But above all, Spalletti wants to start again with a solid game identity. The ball already knows where to be. There is no longer the uncertainty of Gabriel Barbosa. Inter are back in the Champions League, ownership has strong confidence for a successful season and thanks to transfer market movements, the entire environment is fired up. Since post-treble season in 2010, being able to transmit this positive feeling is extremely rare.
Everything seems ripe for a season full of satisfactions, provided Inter management also proves to have matured with the team and they must support Spalletti in difficulties better than in the past.
