Ranieri: "Inter, the main rival against Juventus. Without foreign ownership, Serie A won't be competitive"

Speaking to La Stampa, former Inter coach Claudio Ranieri speaks about the rebirth of Italian football evidenced by an ambitious transfer market window of the big Italian clubs with the sole exception of Napoli.

“We are almost out of crisis and it is not only because of Ronaldo. Allegri knows how to handle the pressure. The return of two Milanese clubs is also important: Inter are the first Scudetto rival of the Bianconeri while Higuain is the right player to lead the Milan attack. Let’s be real with ourselves, without foreign ownership we will not be competitive.

“Modric? I don’t think it will happen but I am not aware of any private agreement between him and Perez. Inter are already the anti-Juventus even without him and if they can someone sign Modric as well…”
